About Us

Vision

To lead Process Systems Engineering (PSE) research and conduct cutting edge research in the area of design, modeling, optimization, operation and control of industrial processes.

Mission

The objectives of the PSE group are to develop and apply a systems approach based on a good understanding of the system domain to solve and analyze problems related to Process Modelling, Simulation, Synthesis, Design, Analysis, Control and Operation of Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, Food and Biochemical Industries. The focus of PSE research is the development of generic methods and tools through the use of a systems approach. Their application domain, on the other hand, is wide and covers a wide industrial sectors. The research results are to be disseminated in terms of developed computational tools, technologies and applications through publications, workshops, seminars, trainings and collaborations with partners from industries and academia.

Chemical Substitution
